Dish network’s DVR standard dual tuner receiver has two tuners to support two televisions providing the unique ability to record two shows simultaneously while watching a third recorded program. DVR dual tuners are designated as TV1 and TV2. TV1 is used for a TV in the same room where the receiver is kept while TV2 can be connected to a 2nd TV (or several TV’s throughout a house).
Dish standard dual tuner receiver has a 120 gigabyte of internal hard drive which can record up to 100 hours of standard definition and two satellite tuners allow selecting from two viewing options. DVR dual tuner also has name based recording. Dish DVR dual tuner receiver has 200 feet of UHF remote range.

One Infrared (IR) 4-component universal remote control – controls “TV1” (the room with the dual-tuner receiver). Can be programmed to operate (via IR) up to three additional components.
One UHF Pro/IR configurable 4-component universal remote control. Controls “TV2” (second TV location) when configured for UHF Pro (blue key); can control “TV1” if configured for IR (green key).
Configured as “TV2” UHF Pro remote, it controls satellite receiver up to 200 feet away through walls and other obstructions. It can be programmed to operate (via IR) up to three additional components, such as TVs, VCRs and DVD players.
